The cover states heart-warming, and I'm sure that's the tone the author has gone for but it is so disconnected from the world we occupy today I'm not sure how people will engage with the book. The Ware is so far away that it needs explaining in terms that the modern day will understand. This book, lovely as it is, fails to do that.
