The cover of the book not entirely appealing and is only limited to Christmas time and not a all round read.
Maybe those who like to know about the world war and find out about those who were celebrating Christmas time how they got along and the journey they faced.
The book was okay but nothing I can relate to as I do not celebrate Christmas and it was just stories of those people and how they spent Christmas day.
It does make you think how they managed to get through and still had something to look forward to even though times were tough and money was very little.
Overall not my kind of book but it was a quick read and easy to follow. I didn't really expect much from this book.
