I absolutely loved this book and will be passing it on to my mum to read, it was a lovely story of how the brogan family who live in London during the war cope with their loved ones being away and all the problems that come with it. Bombs and trying to put on a Christmas with hardly any money and ration books!! Jo the young one of the family finds romance and love and how hard it is to keep a relationship when the world is at war, this book is very well written by Jean Fullerton and even at my age and not having been through war she makes you understand how hard it was to keep relationships going through hard times and I would love to read more of her books this will not disappoint you and makes you appreciate what Christmas is really about
