I enjoy a good historical story based around factual events, with this being the founding and floundering of the first settlement in Virginia, Jamestown.
This got me hooked as the various characters were introduced and i can't wait to find out how they get on, even though we know the eventual results there are plenty of the inbetween events to enjoy as they unfold through the eyes of people there.
