What I liked about this straight away is the really cool cover. The tagline-'America was born in blood' is also really intriguing.
The blurb also makes me want to read it. The last sentence in particular- 'Amid starvation and bloodshed a desperate fight for survival begins'- is very effective.
I don't really like the first extract as it seems complicated but if I read more (as I only read the first few pages) I would probably get into it.
