Another book that reminded me of my Dad and his main reading genre, who has also read this book and thoroughly enjoyed it, so praise from him!
The book itself is wonderful and you are under no illusions to what the story will be based on.
The book is set in the early 1600's and i must says it's quite interesting. As i have said in other reviews, historical books are far from my first choice and not sure how i would react with them. Cradle is a thrilling and compelling read, at times it was very exciting and tense. The characters were extremely strong especially the Captain.
When reading it you got a feeling this would make a great film as it has enough action going on, at times quite graphic and violent.
