This book is not just a pretty cover; it also has an amazing story inside to match.

This book had something rare in which both of the lead characters (Noemi and Abel) were extremely likeable. Noemi is willing to risk anything to protect her planet of Genesis; she's known as a rebel. Abel is a "machine" with programming that is evolving after he has been left alone for years.
They're supposed to be enemies but when they are forced to work together to end the fighting of an interstellar war, they begin to question whether there is really any reason for them not to like each other.

For me, the characters were an important part of this book. I loved the decisions they made, the journey they went on, and how they progressed with the story. I will probably re-read this book again at some point in the future.
