Hooked straight away from the opening line "Noemi Vidal will die here" it intrigues you as you have all these questions like, what?, how? and why? I like the concept of solider in the novel as i haven't read many with that involved. The knowing when she will die is so hooking as a reader because i want to know the past/background that made this accrue. The beginning plot flows nicely so it is easy to follow allowing readers to easily understand what is going on. I love that it has Noemi perceptive thoughts placed in the book as we get to build that connection with her as the main character. I need to know where this plot is going!! I feel there will be twists along the way which makes so much more gripping to read! I mean I am hooked after reading only 29 pages and i want to know more. The story is really my cup of tea and i cannot wait to see where it goes!
