The cover is the thing that brought the book to my attention first. And after reading the first look it fits the book very well. I love a good book with a hint of fantasy, like One Hundred Years of Solitude, and reading the prose in the first look I feel like this book could impress me as much as Marquez did with his. I liked how well written it was whilst not bogging you down in too much detail. It's one of those writers that knows how to keep the reader going at a good pace with clean prose. Even if I don't win a copy I'll definitely be adding it to my read list for the future.
