If I had had this book in front of me now, I very much doubt that I would have stopped at 32 pages. I love the quirkiness of magical realism - the thought that the magical and bizarre can have a place in everyday life really appeals to me. I would love to see where this book goes. The descriptive language is beautiful - I can almost smell the sea!
