Ummm.....
I like this one, from the beginning it was an original story of a family- The McAllisters- who come back after they die. The women only, never the men. Sometimes they stay for a time, and they take on a different form.
So peculiar! And very different! A young male McAllister feels it necessary to prepare for his sister's passing. I found this a little funny -as if he's the one dying to get rid of her- but I really want to know his real motivations! What's the big sectet?
I feel we're not given much to go on. But I will gladly read on to find out as I'm also a fair bit interested in how an ordinary fisherman fits into this compelling narrative.
Book's cover is also instantly unique in its design- seems very fitting. I would definitely recognise on a bookshelf.
