This was a very different book to what i'd normally read, and I definitely do not regret reading it! The characters felt very real and I appreciated the diverse style of writing which really captured my attention. It felt very elegant and magical to read, but strange at the same time. The way the author used visualisation to describe the scene and characters really bought the story to life! One of the main themes of this story was grief, which connected the characters together and in an unpredictable plot. The book may feel like it is moving at a slow pace at times, but that contributes to its gracefulness. I absolutely loved the cover, which is what drew me to the book in the first place!!! Was a beautiful read and I highly recommend.
