The cover looks great and this was what initially drew me in. The book opens sadly with death and at first I thought it wasn't for me but after a few pages I was strangely intrigued to discover more about the characters and setting and to find out what happens. The book offers a sureall element with a spooky, somewhat dark potential turn. The setting of the novel is different to other books I have read and I would like to learn and understand more, which as then the novel develops I'm sure it will provide. I like to read a wide range of books and am often drawn to a cover, often I come across covers of books i have already read, but with an new invigorated or updated cover. Overall I think the first 30 odd pages offer a good insight into what to expect and I would love to read more.
