This book took me a long while to get into, I was about quarter way through before it made me want to pick it up and read it. I think the main reason for this was the American dialogue. The four main characters had names of Aerin, Seneca, Maddox and Madison, now whether it's because I am in the UK or what I don't know but I couldn't make out if they were male or female characters. There was also several other instances of American dialogue that I just didn't get. I have read quite a lot of books by American authors and set in America so can't really understand why. Once I got into the book I didn't think it was too bad and I wanted to find out what happened in the end. I think this book will appeal to young adult readers who enjoy a who done it case.
