Although there have been many books written about Princess Diana this one was written by one of her personal protection officers, Ken Wharfe, and contains interesting snippets not found in other accounts. The book is written in short sections, each one about a different destination. The author describes how each trip was organised, including difficulties involved in such high profile travel. The account covers the time when Princess Diana was sorting out her private life with Prince Charles and the beginning of the ensuing separation. There are accounts of private holidays, with and without her sons, and official visits she undertook, with and without Prince Charles. Two sections of photographs are included. This is an interesting, well written book.
