I really enjoyed this book. I found it to be a read in which brought the wonderful Princess Diana back to life. We see the experiences and trips she took. We are privy to seeing her claustrophobia and her marriage fall apart. Told from the perspective of her security, we see how she was desperate for a break away and for time to be with her beloved sons. I found the book enlightening in many ways and also terribly sad. To relive the death of the ‘People’s Princess’ is always going to be difficult. One thing that’s for sure is that I found this book honest and well written. The love for life and opportunity is clear and that makes the loss much stronger too.
Overall, people will read this book if they’re interested in the Princess, the royal family or historical facts. I’d recommend this book if you are interested in any of the above. An easy read.
