I must admit if I had seen this book on the shelves in a store I would have passed it by without a second glance. The way Princess Diana died and the way the press portrayed her afterwards was a time the world will never forget. The dead should be left to rest in peace yet the world has this fascination with Princess Diana that will never go away. Long after her death her story lives on and in this book you sort of get just a glimpse behind the scenes of how everywhere she went an entaurage had to be with her. Her security and safety was paramount as the mother to a future heir to the throne. If she had been kidnapped then the monarchy could have been put into chaos so even after her divorce from Prince Charles she was still closely followed and guarded. The book is a surprise through and through
