A little unsure.. not sure if this is my cup of tea

I’m not sure wether this would be my cup of tea or not. Historical fiction would not normally be what I would typically choose to read. I wouldn’t dismiss this book though, I would be quite happy to give it a try and until then would reserve judgement as I imagine it would be a very emotional, gripping read?!
