The cover itself is not very artistic but the sharp colours and use of fonts would get a reader’s attention. I especially liked how the cover was sharp and not soft and blended, this certainly adds to the historical feel of it.
The title seems mysterious and made me curious to read more. I feel like the blurb gave a great insight and overview of the novel.
The writing style felt well-put but was not too descriptive. However, I enjoyed the fact that it was not overly descriptive, as it can get annoying. Overall, I felt like the book got straight to the point while giving the necessary details. I certainly liked the straightforwardness of the novel.
I also liked the way that the author was not trying too hard to give us a full description of the characters. I think that slowly and surely, we’ll get to know the characters. Their mannerisms of each character distinguishes them from other characters.
