This is the 4th book in a series set in World War 2 and the main character Tom Wilde is a Cambridge Professor who goes undercover as an American Businessman with German heritage. He tries to obtain a 'parcel' from Germany. A wild chase begins as Nazis chase after 'it' too. Quite quickly you realise what the parcel is and why it shouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to read a book entitled 'Hitler's secret' but I'm glad I got the opportunity to read this thriller about war and espionage. The author has done a lot of research into the horrible Nazi regime and its ruthless characters, especially of Adolf Hitler and Martin Boorman to make you understand them. He has also provided enough dialogues as well as descriptions to engage his readers. It makes you think about films of war and those with spies. I was intrigued about what is going to happen next and it was surprisingly a worthwhile read.
