Really loved this, one of the best war novels and thriller I have read in a while.
The year is 1941 and the seemingly mild mannered professor Tom Wilde has been approached by American intelligence to retrieve a package from Germany that could ostensibly destroy the Third Reich and affect the outcome of the war when the information is revealed to the world.
When behind enemy lines the "package" is revealed and Tom Wilde realises just what he is now in charge of.
Meanwhile with ruthless enemies pursuing him across Germany to halt his escape his life is in danger at every turn.
This was an incredibly we thought out plot that was relentless in its pace and was exciting to the very last page.
Brilliant and is great for fans of this genre.
