Another brilliant novel in the Tom Wilde series
A fast-paced (from the opening page), tense and atmospheric thriller - just what I've come to1 expect of Rory Clements' Tom Wilde series. One of my favourite authors
This is the 4th novel in the series - it could easily be read as a standalone, but I'd thoroughly recommend reading all the previous books to really get a feel for the main characters.
Hard to put down as the story rapidly develops - as a reader, you want to find out what happens next, and I spent many nights reading longer than I intended (sleep deprivation was well worth it though!!).
Hitler's Secret gives a real feeling of the horrors of life in Germany at the height of Hitler and Clements' gives an indication of the research he undertook as a footnote at the end of the novel.
As a lover of historical crime/thrillers, I thoroughly enjoyed Hitler's Secret & look forward to the next Tom Wilde mission...there will be one, surely?!!
