I am very into war novels so was thrilled to win this one as the blurb sounded fantastic and it didn’t disappoint.
It’s 1941 and Professor Tom Wilde has been sent on a mission by the Americans to retrieve a package from Germany.
He is told nothing about the package and is working blind and only when he gets behind enemy lines does he realise the significance of what has been entrusted to him.
The package could blow the war sky high and affect the outcome.
But others know this too so are relentlessly pursuing him to stop it getting into enemy hands.
This was exciting and gripping from the first page to the last and is well worth reading if like me you enjoy a good war novel.
