This is the first book I have read by Rory Clements but it certainly will not be the last!

What I love is the reliance on the many women across the world, well placed to offer assistance, and never shying from the task. Tom Wilde is a great character with clear morals but he would not have a chance of making it through if not for a string of well placed or well connected women who support him.
The book is full of twists and turns, showing the many dangers faced in Nazi Germany. It is a complicated tale of deception and power plays by various men determined to come out on top during this horrendous war.
