A brilliant book set in the Second World War, I had difficulty putting it down (read it in two days). Full of twists and turns, with well developed characters and locations.
Full of intrigue and cliffhangers, I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the world of Tom Wilde and company. Even though I had worked out some of the key plot points for myself within the first few chapters, I still found myself surprised by certain developments, right up to the final chapter, which rounded the book off perfectly.
My only (very minor) criticism is that I would have liked a map - I am admittedly bad at geography, so really struggled keeping up with all of the German place names; a few small maps would have really helped with this.
