Gripping WW2 Novel
This book had me hooked from the start and I couldn't put it down.
The cover was mysterious and the synopsis sounded intriguing.
I can't write too much about the story without giving a lot away.
The main character is a Uni professor from Cambridge, who is also a spy. He has been picked to go on a special mission to Berlin during the war to retrieve a secret package. This package could significantly change the outcome of the result.
The writing in the book flowed really well and I found it easy to read. The descriptive nature in the book made you feel like you could be there watching and felt empathy to characters.
This is part 4 in a series of books about Tom Wilde, it is a great book in it's own right and I don't feel I missed anything not having read any of the others, I will certainly be looking for the rest of the series.
