The title of this book is very griping and I do tend to enjoy novels featured around war time. After reading the blurb for the book however it seemed a little more heavy than I expected focusing on military and hidden spy’s.
Upon reading the first sneak peek it quickly became apparent there were 3 stories taking place. One in Germany with a German taking orders to supply to Hitlers staff and making sure important ‘hits’ were carried out, a hitman trying to find a young girl named Klara who has been told to kill her and anyone associated with her (this line of story had me the most intrigued) and an English history professor who is asked to pose as an American German sympathiser to collect a package.
In my opinion the book could be great but for me it was a little too military and espionage heavy for what I was hoping for.
