The fourth book in a series to involve Cambridge history professor Tom Wilde takes place toward the end of 1941.

I started reading this book about 6 weeks ago....and I couldn't get through more than several pages. The writing style is quite good and flows well but it was hard to follow the plot.

The book supposed to be "the most explosive spy thriller of the year" according to the reviews. And it perhaps would be....if I read previous 3 Tom Wilde books from his series. I found the book really difficult to follow and the plot was unconvincing for me. I don't think the book captured how I imagined it to be. It is both unbelievable and predictable. There is a good story trying to get out but it doesn’t quite make it.

I had the chance to read the book, which I'm grateful for. Unfortunately this just wasn’t for me.
