I’d read a bit about this book before I had the chance to read it and really thought I would enjoy it. Unfortunately this just wasn’t for me, however I can see how and why it would appeal to many other readers. The writing style is good and flows well but I found the story a bit slow and hard to get into, almost like something was missing. I enjoy books that draw you in and you struggle to put down. Unfortunately this just didn’t do it for me. As I understand it is part of a series so maybe that was my problem ?!?!?! Maybe if I had read the other books before this one then I would have enjoyed it more. Overall a perfectly fine book that was enjoyable but just didn’t have the wow factor.
