Now, to be honest, I didn't intend to win this one. I forgot to uncheck the enter prize draw, but seeing as I won it and it landed on my doorstep, I decided I'd better give it a chance. At times the story was intriguing and gripping, but I'm not a huge fan of gore, so that was something I didn't enjoy. If you like these kinds of books, I can say that it seemed pretty well written, although it could be a little unrealistic and unconvincing at times. I'll admit I haven't read any of the author's other books, so maybe I'm missing some important elements that I would have noticed or appreciated more if I had. I appreciate the chance I was given to own and read this book by reader's first, and I look forward to entering more giveaways in the future.
