I had not heard of Rory Clements before I read HS and I'm now so glad I did. The cover sets the scene but doesn't prepare you for just HOW GOOD the story is. The only bad part was when I HAD to put it down! I have never enjoyed commuting and waiting at bus stops so much! The story builds up at a satisfactory pace which keeps you on the edge of your seat at all times. The author has also done some great research and gives a very convincing description of the scenery and the atmosphere at the time. I think it's also worth mentioning the afterword which was a nice, personal touch. The author encourages online reviews and he says he reads them - let's see if he reads this one!
