Absolutely enjoyable book.
I’ve never read any of Rory Clements books before and although the characters may have been in his other books it did t matter.
From the moment I started reading this I was absolutely hooked. It’s really well written and thoroughly enjoyable to read.
A spy thriller with all the tension you’d expect. Your intrigue is peaked within the first couple of chapters who is this girl and what do the gestapo want with her. Why is she being hounded and why are people willing to die to protect her.
At this stage in our history it’s really interesting to read about the gestapo and spies during this time. Has the world really changed that much? Are there still secrets and spies out there?
