Hitler’s secret was unlike any book I’ve ever read before. Now, I have read historical/war fiction before but Hitler’s secret was a completely new experience in a good way. Hitler’s secret is part of the Tom Wilde series as it is actually book 4. However, it can be read as a stand-alone as I read it like this and I had no problem following along. I really liked how this book was based on a true story (Hitler/World War II) but had other elements to it and a real story. It was really nice to see characters such as Tom Wilde who had his own family whilst he was spying/working. Also, I liked the different plot lines running throughout the story and how it would change POV’s. Hitler’s secret also did not shy away from violence or gore and it made me feel slightly nauseous at some points. Overall though it was an interesting and new read for me. I would recommend it to anyone who likes war fiction.
