As I was reading the premise of this book, it struck me how many incredibly important topics the author has been able to cover in this book. I always love books based in summer camps, they give me a sense of nostalgia. So reading the first impression took me right back to my teens. I was left wanting to follow Leah’s journey and to see what happens to her and her friends. I loved the illustrations before each chapter, they were gorgeous and really added to the atmosphere!
