This is a book for young adults so obviously I am aware that I am not the target audience. However, these were my impressions. I liked the illustrations very much but too young people these days really like this kind of didactic writing? It was almost like a manual in worthiness. I can see that it intends to deal with some big themes but clearly not with any degree of subtlety.
