I love the cover of this and was drawn in by the synopsis. I frequently enjoy reading YA novels and often borrow them from my daughter when I either want a lighter read or want to share a discussion with her. However, this novel just didn't grip me - the narrative didn't ring true and the conversations did not seem like those a teenager would engage in. Unfortunately this one is not for me.
