The cover promises mystery, romance and reflection. This novel has quite a pace and moves through the different settings smoothly. Our young protagonist provides an almost breathless account of her activities and emotions, using a fairly advanced vocabulary. I can see this story keeping the attention of teenagers older than her 14 years.
