The premise didn’t appeal to me because I thought it had the potential to be overly deep and a bit too high-brow for a YA read. Given the book is only 240 pages I felt it would be hard to combine a decent story with the bigger questions that the premise hints at. Although I started to read the First Impression, unfortunately I found myself tuning out pretty quickly and as I am not sure that this is a book that I would want to read, I will not enter the raffle.
