The idea of finding home is a universal concept, this theme is very well explored in the book by combining philosophy, environmentalism and emotion. It may be aimed as a young adult novel but the idea resonates with a much larger audience... I feel like this because at one point or another I think everybody has at one point in their life that they do not fit in and have had to find ways to overcome these barriers. There is no set way to explain how people overcome their self doubt, fear and negativity but by exploring the reasoning behind it and watching Leah's character development may help somebody that is currently going through these difficulties. It is a lovely coming-of-age story of how to grow up confident despite the bullying and struggles of life and I would happily recommend this book to other avid readers like myself and to younger and older audiences alike.
