I enjoyed parts of this book, especially the part of the book set at the summer camp but for a lot of this book I felt like I wasn't fully grasping the story or that I was missing a piece of the puzzle to understand Leah and what she was talking about.

Leah ends up alone in the park one evening, she has the strangest sensation of rising high and gliding among the stars. It was at this point in the book I felt like I just didn't connect with Leah and some of the story just passed me by. Maybe I struggled with the book because I'm not a teenager and not in the demographic that the book is aimed at. Or it could just be the subject matter isn't one I would connect with at any age.

The look of this book is beautiful. There are no chapters but instead windows and each window starts with an illustrated page. The version of the book I had had glossy pages that felt more luxurious than a normal paperback book.
