upon learning that Leah's universe is the first of a trilogy, I was interested about learning about her adventures. I absolutely love how she refers to chapters as 'windows', simply because it reminded her of books in English.
the page design for the widows are also immaculate, so I was not surprised to find out that the author spent twenty five years as an illustrator, designer and art director. it totally fits the theme of the book! Leah is a very unique girl she always wants to learn about things and find out more. this is what provoked her to find out the meaning of home. the author introduces many problems such as bullying and gives a practical solution or advice. not to mention other aspects too. it also brings upon circling issues such as climate change. I loved "HOME: my life in the universe and cant wait to read the second and third book in the trilogy!
