I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this book and felt it may verge on being preachy however I was intrigued as it appeared to be different to many novels and I am so glad that I have read it.

The inspiration behind the story is original and I enjoyed the characters, particularly Leah, and found them relatable. I thought that the book may be more suitable for teenagers and although I believe this is the audience it is aimed at, I think that it would be an enjoyable read for any age.

There are lots of interesting subjects covered from astrology, philosophy, climate disaster, bullying, the pain of first love and self-image, which leads the book to be useful to be discussed at a book club or similar group activity where any of these subjects need to be discussed.

All in all, a nice surprise and enjoyable read plus there are some lovely illustrations.
