I didn't really get on with this book. There is plenty of intrigue being built but somehow it just didn't draw me in or make me want to find out more about the characters, their motivations and their histories. The basis of the story sounds intriguing but it has failed to captivate me and I was constantly aware of reading the story rather than being absorbed by it.
