Homesick has an amazing beginning, an engaging and intriguing read that grabs hold of you from the start and you are left wanting more. Jesse seems to be a sympathetic character, a divorced father who clearly adores his daughter. Although the first read stops short of the death of his wife, it will be interesting to see just how he reacts to it and how he is going to go about getting his daughter back. I will most likely be rooting for him throughout and I would love to read this book to see how it all gets resolved.
This book reminds me a lot of Criminal Minds, which is a show I love and I cannot wait to see what the author does with this story and I have no doubt that there are many twists to come.
