The use of the bold colours and big bright font of the cover drew me to the book. When I saw the cover, I thought that the story would have a sense of thrill in it. The beginning of the book had me hooked. I could vividly picture the scene that the author was trying to get across by reading the sentences. That is a quality about writing styles that really appeals to me. The first chapter (being about the past) had me captivated into the story. It worked as a driving force and urged me to read ahead and find out exactly what is going to happen! I want to read more because these are the sort of books enjoy, mysteries that relate to your past because when things are left without closure or undealt, they never really are the past!
