This book seems like a really good read.
I was very curious about Jesse's past. It was difficult to tell the reality of the past from the nightmares. Obviously he had a bad time with the near drowning, which still haunts him to this day. Maybe the nightmares are directly connected to the event.
His eight year old daughter Isa gives him great comfort, but his estranged wife enjoys making life difficult for him.
Who has sent the hand in the box and what does it have to do with anything? Also, what does the sender want with Jesse? I'm pretty sure he doesn't just want a catch-up. I feel both Jesse and Isa are in some sort of danger.
I'm not sure where the story is going, but it has certainly intrigued me.
