This was the first book I had read by Marc Raabe and I wasn't sure what to expect. The book is a thriller which it the type of book I like to read.
The main character Jesse goes to his wife's apartment and finds she has been murdered and his young daughter Isa is missing. On the wall is written "You don't deserve her"
The book then follows the story which takes Jesse back to his childhood in a children's home. The story then jumps back to the present day as he comes across many suspects from his past that may have reason to kidnap his daughter.
This was a fast paced thriller where I was eager for Jesse to uncover the secrets from his past in time to save his daughter.
I would read other books by Marc as I enjoyed this one a lot.
