I looked at the other reviews for this book and was really surprised at how many people seemed not to like this book.

The very beginning which starts with Jesse having a nightmare was a little strange but after that this was a book I could not put down and I just wanted to turn each page to find out what was coming next.

Its all about Jesse and his past life that is caught up with his ex-wife being murdered and his daughter, who he loves deeply, being abducted and Jesse determined to find her himself as he cannot go to the police as he fears she will die if he does.

I loved the way everything linked up together, how the characters seemed really real and how I got lost in the story. The twist at the end seemed fitting, however I think I would have liked 'the wrong one' to have been killed - that's all I can say without spoiling the ending.

I thought it was extremely well written.
