I recieved this book via my subscription to a box of stories.
The cover screams thriller with bold lettering a red and white colouring.
The book gets off to a pretty dramatic start with a horrible turn of events you probably would not expect so early in to a book.
The lead character is under pressure to find his daughter and goes on a journey to his past.
You meet some shifty characters along the way which has you tossing and turning trying to guess the guilty.
The lead character also has a bit of a side kick who at first is suspicious of him and they later become allies. I did wonder will this lead to romance and was pleasantly suprised it wasnt predictable and it did not.
I felt the book was pretty slow burning, lots of un necessary fluff and story telling, felt predicatable in places and just boring in others.
The last few chapters were twist and turny with suspense and thrill but left you feeling a little confused at how far fetched it was.
But that being said it wasn't a nad read at all.
