I’d not heard of Marc Raabe before and on winning a copy of this book looked at some reviews of his last two books- some weren’t great so I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this book as much as I did.
Jesse’s life quickly gets turned up side down when his beloved daughter is kidnapped. He soon realises he is going to have to return to his murky past if he has any chance of finding her.
The snippets of Jesse’s time in the home were really good and the author did a great job of building up to the ultimate twist near the end of the book. I liked that everything was tidied up at the end, no questions left unanswered.
I will be keeping an eye out for Marc Raabe’s next book for sure!
